This is a 50/50 blend of soil and organic compost materials.

The general rule of thumb is 1/4 to 1/2 inch if applying to the top of the soil and 1 to 2 inches if you plan to amend the soil. Recommended maximums are 30% to 50% compost in a soil blend, but no more than 30% compost in containers or raised beds.

About Our Compost, Soil, Mulch Materials and Delivery Rates

The feedstock that forms the base of these compost materials is sourced from local residents, commercial kitchens and restaurants.
Organic compost weigh approximately 1000-1600 lbs.
Soil/compost blend weigh approximately 2200-2700 lbs.
Freight rates apply and are charged based upon the distance from the nearest compost site to your location:
1. Single Axle Trucks
  - 1-10 miles $55.00
  - 11-15 miles $65.00
  - 16-20 miles $75.00
  - 21-25 miles $85.00
  - 26-30 miles $95.00
  - 31-35 miles $105.00
  - 36-40 miles $115.00
  - 41-45 miles $125.00
  - Add $3.58 per mile over after 45miles
2. Three/Four Axle Dump Trucks
  - 0-4 miles $100/120
  - 4.1-8 miles $105/125
  - 8.1-12 miles $115/135
  - 12.1-16 miles $125/145
  - 16.1-25 miles $140/160
  - Over 25 miles, add 6 miles x $5.30 for three axle and by $5.85 for four axles
